Four months into the 2025 season, and the music industry is already buzzing with collaborations, fresh hits, and unstoppable momentum. From dynamic duets to powerful collabs, here are our picks for the top five standout collaborations of the year (so far)!

ExtraL

JENNIE (feat. Doechii)

This song is giving purr! With Doechii coming off of her recent Grammy win, and JENNIE releasing her first solo album which debuted at top 7 on the Billboard 200, these two leading ladies know how to make big moves. This fast slick hip-hop infused beat has become Gen Z’s women empowerment anthem, reminding us that as women we don’t need someone else's approval to succeed. The combination of Doechii killing the rap portion, and JENNIE exploring her versatility in the pop-R&B scene, show that women run really do run  the music scene.

True Religion

Shygirl, Isabella Lovestory & PinkPantheress

Get your girlies, and head to the nearest dance floor to listen to this captivating reggaeton-influenced beat. All three artists are known for their experimental hyperpop and 2000s inspired beats and visuals. Shy Girl’s sultry vocals and Isabella Lovestory’s reggaeton laced spanish verse are a match made in heaven. Top that off with some classic silky chords from Pink Pantheress for the bridge — you have a certified club banger!

BORN AGAIN

Lisa (feat. Doja Cat & RAYE)

This track lets you know that your ex is most certainly missing out! Post break up or not, this pop track encourages anyone in a toxic relationship to rewrite their own narrative. With electro-pop and disco incorporated musical elements and religious allegory, it will make anyone a believer in the power of a woman, especially if it’s any of these three.

Like Him

Tyler, The Creator (feat. Lola Young)

A true melodic masterpiece, “Like Him” isn’t just the story of a father and son, but also depicts how beauty and fear can come out of the same moment. Tyler grapples with accepting his resemblance to a father figure he doesn’t want to emulate while also experiencing warmth in his presence. Lola Young’s feature portrays the younger and vulnerable version of Tyler, The Creator. We were truly captivated by the introspective nature of the song and the emotionally layer filled elements.

30 for 30

By SZA (with Kendrick Lamar)

Both these artists delivered a highly acclaimed and anticipated Super Bowl LIX halftime performance in New Orleans in February highlighting their past collaborations including “All The Stars” and “Luther”. The cherry on top to these collaborations is “30 by 30” as it showcases a blend of SZA's soulful vocals and Kendrick's sharp lyrical ability to reflect on authenticity and self-worth. Hitting No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot R&B song chart, both artists are at the top of their game and the song is an extension of celebrating their accomplishments while addressing haters. And that’s the way they like it~

Honorable Mentions:

DIE TRYING by PARTYNEXTDOOR, Drake & Yebba

Are You Even Real by Teddy Swims (ft. Givēon)

Sticky  by Tyler, The Creator (feat. GloRilla, Sexxy Red & Lil Wayne)
